The presentation-discussion of the book “On the road with the Constitution”

On 9th of February, 2023, during an event in VU Law Faculty was presented  a collection of 18 peer-reviewed scientific articles about public law problems – „Kelyje su Konstitucija” (english: “On the road with the Constitution”), which is dedicated to Professor of practice Augustinas Normantas on the occasion of his anniversary.

During the event the book was gave in to Professor of practice A. Normantas. The Dean of VU Law Faculty, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Haroldas Šinkūnas told, that professor gave to Faculty a lot, and this book is a gratitude for his input.

Discussion with co-authors and participants of the event was moderated by Prof. Dr. Jurgita Paužaitė-Kulvinskienė. Here were analyzed thoughts of published scientific articles and it was noticed that they correspond to the recent realities of public law in Lithuania and beyond.

In the discussion participated scientists of the Department of Public Law at VU Law Faculty: Prof. Dr. Bronius Sudavičius, Professor of practice Augustinas Normantas, Prof. Dr. (HP) Egidijus Šileikis and emeritus Prof. Dr. Antanas Marcijonas and Prof. Dr. Arvydas Andruškevičius. Other participants of the discussion: president of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Lithuania Prof. Dr. Danutė Jočienė and Professor of Mykolas Romeris University, Dr. Toma Birmontienė.

Scientific editor of the book “Kelyje su Konstitucija” is Prof. Dr. Bronius Sudavičius.
