Discussion “Russia’s aggression against Ukraine from the point of view of international law”
In the assessment of Russia’s open aggression against Ukraine, violations of international law, complete disregard of its principles and norms are mentioned daily. What’s more, it is insufficiently effective or does not work: the international peace and security mechanism of the United Nations Charter, measures of other international organizations, courts. Really? Various ways and means of response to Russian aggression according to international law on 1st of March 2022 discussed remotely by the participants of the discussion – Ambassadors of the Republic of Lithuania, scientists from Estonian and Ukrainian universities and professors of international law and international relations at Vilnius University.
