An interdisciplinary discussion on climate change and justice

On 11th of February 2022 an interdisciplinary discussion on climate change and justice took place. The participants of the discussion were welcomed by the Rector of Vilnius University, Prof. Dr. Rimvydas Petrauskas, Ambassador of France to Lithuania H.E. Mrs. Alix Everard. Invited guests of the discussion: Mr. A. Banevičius, Assoc. Prof. Dr. J. Kazys, MdC Dr. I. Michallet, Dr. D. Šorytė – scientists and experts representing the fields of climatology, climate change law, environmental psychology and philosophy, communication, European Union policy. The discussion was led by Dr. Gintarė Tamašauskaitė-Janickė.

With this discussion, the French Law Center of the Faculty of Law of Vilnius University, in cooperation with the French Embassy in Lithuania, is organizing a cycle of interdisciplinary events in the context of the French presidency of the Council of the European Union, aimed at discussing and strengthening academic and scientific university cooperation.
