Legal experts analysed the programmes of the political parties participating in the next elections in terms of the Lithuanian legal system and proposed amendments. Moreover, each participant evaluated the adequacy of the programmes to the existing legal framework and its mechanism with respect to the different legal areas, such as legislation, human rights, private law, criminal justice, etc.
The highly relevant discussion revealed the legal-political trends prevailing in public life, and answered the questions: how do the political parties assess the Lithuanian legal framework? What changes do they offer? What could be the further development of the legal system in Lithuania? An abundant number of political parties’ representatives did not miss the event and listened intently to the speakers.
The event culminated in a discussion between the speakers and the audience.
