This week, the results of the Comparative Expert Assessment of Research and Development (R&D) Activities 2018-2023, which took place at the Law Faculty of Vilnius University on 28 March, were revealed. It is gratifying that the conclusions of the foreign expert commission highly appreciated the efforts and scientific activities of the VU Law Faculty community.
In the evaluation of the Faculty’s scientific activities, active networking with other national institutions and internationally was noted. The close links that the Law Faculty has with other faculties of the VU, which allow to develop various multidisciplinary applied research programs, were also taken into account.
The research carried out by the researchers in the period 2018-2023 has been assessed as having an important national economic and social impact, and the scientific conferences and other events organized have been assessed as having a good academic impact. The team acknowledged that the PhD program, at the VU Law Faculty is strong and continuously improving, providing a space for students to exchange ideas and discuss interdisciplinary topics.
