On 15 October, the European Court of Human Rights judge prof. Egidijus Kūris visited the Faculty of Law. The professor gave a public lecture and shared his legal experience gained in the European Court of Human Rights. The lecture attracted great interest among the students. Hence, they had an opportunity to receive the answers to their questions about the Court, proceedings, peculiarities of case hearing, criteria for judge selection and future prospects in the field of human rights. According to Vice-Dean assoc. prof. Haroldas Šinkūnas, who participated in the lecture, it is encouraging that students have the opportunity to learn about one of the most important justice institutions in Europe and Lithuania first-hand and discuss legal issues with a very experienced lawyer professor E. Kūris.
