Dean of VU Faculty of Law prof. Tomas Davulis has been named a Knight in the Order of Academic Palms (Chevalier dans l’Ordre des Palmes académiques) by the French Government.
The decoration is given to those who have advanced the cause of French culture, education. The honour acknowledges involvement of Tomas Davulis in the establishment of French law center at VU Faculty of Law and organising European law summer schools in French and German languages.
The award was presented on the 27th of June during the festive ceremony at Aula Parva of Vilnius University.
