On 21-23 October, Agnė Juškevičiūtė-Vilienė, PhD student in Public Law (Public Law Department, Faculty of Law, Vilnius University) participated at the conference “The Right to Trial: Theory and Practice” organised by the Faculty of Law, Administration and Economics of Wroclaw University. Agnė Juškevičiūtė-Vilienė presented her paper “The Constitutional Court of the Republic of Lithuania and European Standards for the Right to Trial”.
During the three-day conference, the doctoral student had the opportunity to hear the papers presented by the scholars of the Constitutional law of the Republic of Poland, to actively participate in the debates, to broaden her legal knowledge of problems emerging in Polish, German, British, Italian law jurisdictions and related to the protection of the right to trial and its enforcement. For further cooperation, Agnė Juškevičiūtė-Vilienė was invited to participate in the annual seminars and conferences organised by the scholars of the Polish Association of Constitutional Law.
