On 13-17th November 2017 international student seminar devoted to European and constitutional law took place at Pecs University (Hungary). This year seminar was called „The role of State in the 21st century“. VU Faculty of Law was represented by students Aurelija Šerniūtė, Vilius Norvaišas, Tomas Pilkis, also by PhD student Vytis Turonis and the team was led by Assoc. prof. dr. Vaidotas Vaičaitis. Students gave presentations on double citizenship, state souveregnity and other legal questions. Third year student Vilius Norvaišas was awarded nomination for the best scientific work for the paper “Popular sovereignty through referendum v. the rule of law as eternal clause: the constitutional doctrine of Lithuania“.
