On the 11th of April final conference of VU Faculty of Law Student scientific association took place at VU Scholarly Communication and Information Centre. Six best presentations, which had been selected by the committee, were presented during the conference.
First place was awarded to Jovita Bislytė and Justinas Drakšas, who discussed the regulation of “gene scissors” technology and it’s perspectives in relation to certain bioethical questions. Mindaugas Beniušis ir Saulius Bareika won the second place with the topic on problematic aspects of the EU Directive on Copyright in the Digital Single Market. The topic on distributed ledger technology, presented by Gabrielius Matonis and Karolis Šikšnys, won the third place.
