On 14-18 of May 7th spring school of international universities association NOHA (Network on Humanitarian Action) has taken place at Vilnius University. It has been organised by Vilnius University and Warsaw University. Spring school was also dedicated to commemorate 10 years anniversary of NOHA Network. So far network consists of 12 European and 14 global partner universities.
Spring school was organised for civil servants, members of NGOs, academics, students and everyone who is interested in humanitarian actions. Seminars were organised by scholars and specialist of humanitarian law from the whole Europe. Participants of the spring school shared their experiences enthusiastically and hoped to return to Vilnius once again.
Eglė from Lithuania was happy that spring school took place in Vilnius. She thought that even if Lithuania is really noticeable on the map of humanitarian actions but such events is a possibility to show that Lithuania is not indifferent to humanitarian crisis all over the world and is responsible for helping in crisis.
Perchuhi from Armenia was happy to meet academics and representatives from different spheres of humanitarian activities in one place. Empathy is the most important for the participants of the spring school.
Arrey from Mali was happy to visit Lithuania and to meet so many people from different countries. He noted that spring school helped him to understand how to provide aid and what are the minimum standards for humanitarian action.
