The indigenous people of the United States had experienced a tremendous shift of their status from being almost eliminated to the adoption of the Indian Civil Rights Act of 1968. Today, there are hundreds of federally recognized Native American tribes in the US. What had been the major challenges surrounding Native Americans fight for their rights and liberties? What are the current topics and developments of Native Americans rights under the scrutiny of the Supreme Court of the United States? These and other related topics will be discussed in our event.
