Prof. Vytautas Mizaras was approved as Honorary Consul of the Republic of Austria with consular jurisdiction over the Republic of Lithuania. According to ambassador H. E. Johann Spitzer, Prof. V. Mizaras has been offered this position because of his outstanding qualifications, good recommendations, high professional and social standing in Lithuania.
