International Scientific Student Conference IХ Kharkiv Criminal Law Readings

All students are invited to participate in the conference, during which current issues in the science and practice of criminal law, trends, and prospects for their development are planned to be discussed. The conference will happen online via Zoom-online event service. Considering possible security issues, the format of the conference might be changed to a mixed one. Information regarding
participation and the event program will be sent to the registered participants via email a few days before the conference begins.

To participate in the conference, it is necessary to fill out the participant registration form by March 20, 2025, using the link and submit the abstracts of the report in Microsoft Word .doc or .docx format to the email address: conf2025criminal@gmail.com

Report abstracts are submitted only individually (without co-authors) for publication . Based on the decision of the organizing committee, the most relevant report topics will be included in the event program, and their authors will be offered a public presentation at the conference.

Languages for conference: Ukrainian and English.

Before the start of conference, the publication of an electronic collection of report abstracts is planned. The final decision regarding the publication of scientific work lies within the competence of the organizing committee, which reserves the right to check submitted materials for plagiarism, their reviews and technical editing, as well as reject materials that do not align with the conference’s focus or formatting requirements.

The authors and their academic supervisors bear responsibility for the scientific content of the submitted material and compliance to academic integrity.

Requirements for formatting report abstracts:

• text volume up to 10,000 characters (including spaces), all margins – 2.0 cm;
• font – Times New Roman, font size – 14, line spacing – 1.5;
• first line – author’s last name and initials (bold, italics, right-aligned);
• next 2-4 lines – author’s status (student), course, faculty (department, institute), higher
education institution (italic, right-aligned);
• next line – presentation title in uppercase (bold, centered);
• last line of text – information about the academic supervisor (academic degree, academic title,
last name, and initials) (italic);
• listing used literature and references is not required.
