Students are invited to register for the Faculty of Law Tutorial

Students of the Faculty of Law of Vilnius University are invited to take part in a tutorial programme, where they will have the opportunity to deepen their legal knowledge, improve their argumentation skills, and have discussions with experienced lecturers and legal practitioners. The tutorials are held in small groups, providing space for analysis, critical thinking and subject development.

What is the VU Law Faculty Tutorial and why should I participate?

A tutorial is a unique form of learning that allows students of the Faculty of Law to develop their knowledge and skills outside of the usual lectures. It is not a normal course of study – it is an opportunity to work in a small group with a legal professional, exploring topical legal topics, analyzing complex cases and developing critical thinking skills.

Why participate?

You will gain in-depth legal knowledge and practical skills.
You will develop your analytical and reasoning skills in discussions with lecturers and other students.
You will be exposed to real legal challenges and solutions.
You will have the opportunity to collaborate with legal experts and expand your professional contacts.

How does the tutorial work?

Tutorials take place once a week or every two weeks and last for 2 academic hours.
With 3 to 6 students in a group, the attention given to each participant is greater than in a regular lecture.
Students are prepared for the discussions in advance by the tutor, who provides relevant material and sources to be analysed before the meeting.
Attendance at the tutorial is confirmed by a certificate, which can be an added advantage to your CV, but is not included in the Diploma Supplement.

You are welcome to register
