International Conference “Ways of Implementation of the Right to Civil Proceedings within a Reasonable Time”
On 30 September – 1 October, Vilnius University hosted two day-long international conference “Ways of Implementation of the Right to Civil Proceedings within a Reasonable Time”. During the conference, the problems associated with the civil proceedings were discussed by scholars from Austria, Australia, Italy, Latvia, Poland, Norway, Russia, Slovenia, Sweden, Ukraine and, of course, Lithuania. In addition, a number of legal practitioners, especially, representatives from the courts of Lithuania participated in the event.
The conference was dedicated to commemorate the 375th anniversary of the Faculty of Law and to conclude the project of the scholars of VU Faculty of Law, which was funded by the Lithuanian Science Council and was led by prof. Vytautas Nekrošius.
