On the 2nd of December prof. habil. dr. Vytautas Nekrošius and prof. dr. Jonas Prapiestis were awarded with the commemorative medals of Juozas Vilkutaitis-Keturakis in accordance with the resolution of the Presidium of the Lithuanian Chamber of Notaries. They were nominated for this award considering their valuable contribution towards implementation of principles of Latin notariate in Lithuania, assistance to notariate of Lithuania during a major legal reform. Prof. dr. Jonas Prapiestis was a minister of Justice of Lithuania as the reform was ongoing. Prof. habil. dr. Vytautas Nekrošius has been always active in helping to implement reforms in the Lithuanian notariate and has published many articles on notariate law.
